Our Services

Our services entail 3D modelling and preparation of workshop detail drawings to enable the fabricator / constructor to purchase the specified material, fabricate the items in the workshop, then erect the steelwork on site.  In doing this our deliverables are typically as follows:

• General arrangement drawings and marking plans of all steelwork in both 3D views and plan and elevation views.
• Detailed workshop assembly drawings of each item in the job with material lists on each drawing.
• Sub-assembly drawings of large assemblies where required.
• Single part drawings (fitting sheets) of all cleats and items attached to the assembly.
• Plate developments of folded and pressed plates.
• NC data for beamline processing of shafts and dxf files for processing of plate materials.
• Summary and erection bolt lists.

Our services are not only confined to structural steelwork.  We also model and detail tilt-up concrete panel buildings, with panel details showing overall sizes of panels and any cast-in requirements, weights areas etc., mechanical items for materials handling systems, including conveyor galleries, skirting systems, guarding, pulley frames (head & tail), platework chute systems and surge bins all of which are modelled and detailed in Tekla Structures.  We work on projects which are greenfield and also brownfield retrofit jobs requiring site measuring and modelling to match up to existing steelwork.
